With the Classic EXP model, Crocs is now taking the next logical step on this journey. Retailer BSTN recently presented this design evolution in close collaboration with Oearth Studio. The classic silhouette receives a highly visible technological upgrade courtesy of a striking Vibram sole.
The Space as a Stage
The accompanying editorial by Oearth Studio was unveiled as part of an exclusive exhibition. The event in Munich brought together a diverse community and a noticeable energy to Fraunhoferstraße.
The entire minimal design and installation were planned and executed by Studio CNP, Oearth Studio and BAZO. A clean approach served as the design guideline for the venue. Custom-built vitrines crafted for the occasion positioned the footwear precisely at the center of attention, keeping the focus entirely on the product. The visual material from the editorial complemented this aesthetic seamlessly. Large-scale photography prints entered a direct dialogue with video pieces displayed on integrated wall-mounted screens. DJ HOT ellaborated the atmosphere by providing the perfect musical background to complement the overall vibe.
Bridging Utility and Aesthetics
Among the attending guests, the stylistic versatility of the new model became apparent early in the evening, with the shoe already being worn in a wide variety of combinations on-site. The introduction of the “Classic EXP” represents a successful portfolio expansion that merges pure functionality with a contemporary sensibility. The presentation in our studio clearly demonstrated once more that the product has firmly secured its place as an established element of urban lifestyle.
