As part of our exhibition “For Children. Art Stories since 1968,”
KOO JEONG A has created a site-specific installation designed to be skated on. Located on our terrace facing the Eisbach, “HAUS DER MAGNET” connects the surf and skate communities.
The sculpture makes Qi, the Taoist concept of life energy, tangible – through speed, light, and the dynamic flow of play. It’s not just a place to skate, but also to watch, gather, and connect.
It’s free and open to everyone during Haus der Kunst opening hours, whether you’re a beginner or advanced skater, and welcoming to children, FLINTA* individuals, and wheelchair users.
