Annual Exhibition 2026 at the Academy of Fine Arts!
Opening Hours:
Opening Day (Saturday, July 18): 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Saturday, July 25 & Sunday, July 26: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
For one whole week, you have the opportunity to experience the Academy from the inside.
A vast variety of artistic works showcases the full spectrum of our teaching. At the end of the summer semester, students from all semesters present their current works in the class studios and workshops of the Historic Building (Altbau), offering insights into their artistic processes. All genres are represented—from traditional media like painting, sculpture, photography, stage design, jewelry, and object design, to installations, sound, media art, architecture, and interior design. In addition, numerous performances will take place. Strike up a conversation with the students to learn more about the artistic concepts or the creative processes behind individual pieces. Alternatively, you can join a guided tour of the exhibition led by the students—available in several different languages! They represent students from many countries across Europe and around the world.
Artistic works, event schedules, and room maps will also be available starting Thursday, July 16, 2026, on the exhibition website:
www.jahresausstellung-adbk.de.
Please note: On opening day, headcounts will be conducted at the main entrance. Due to maximum building capacity limits, there may be occasional waiting times at the entrance. Thank you for your understanding.
