What is home (Heimat)? Is it a place? A familiar scent, the color of the light, a language that evokes memories? Does it embody a longing for something that can only be felt in the heart, or perhaps never even existed?
This exhibition brings together the personal perspectives of 10 Munich-based photographers in a dialogue that leaves room for questions: an invitation to reflect, to sense, and to form your own picture of what Heimat means. Curated by Thomas Mandl and Gabriele Eder.
