At the end of May, it’s that time again: Decolonize your bookshelf at glitch bookstore
Together, we want to talk about Iran: What is life actually like in Tehran, and what does everyday life look like for the people living there?
This time, selected passages from the book City of Lies by Iranian author and journalist Ramita Navai—who interviewed people in Tehran and recorded their stories—will serve as inspiration for our discussion.
As always, we will read together and start a conversation about it. At the same time, Jasmin will share personal insights and background information about life in Iran.
Following the reading session, we will have the opportunity to connect and chat over tea and music in a relaxed atmosphere.
Persian and English speakers are welcome to join.
